Release 2.7.0 of ConfigSeeder Management and Release 0.9.0 of ConfigSeeder Kubernetes and OS Connectors are again focusing on our Kubernetes Integration. Additionally, many improvements for administrators are added.

Highlight Features

Kubernetes Connector

Kubernetes Connector has now reached RC1 status. As already mentioned with release 2.6.0, API keys can be generated in a simple way and made available to the applications as Secrets.

Additional Datatype Enum

Already now it is possible in ConfigSeeder to record values with different data types. The available values can now not only be restricted by a regular expression, but also by a fixed list.

Compare View with Diff Highlighting

We have added a small marker to the comparison view. After selecting the reference column, you can immediately see where the values differ.

In addition to exporting and importing configuration groups, the following settings can also be exported and imported:

Data Role Preview

Surely you are already familiar with the powerful permission configuration in ConfigSeeder. However, it was not easy to figure out how to configure the data roles now. The user profile page has been updated with the users’ current permissions. Furthermore, there is the possibility to display the required roles for the read and write operations on the configuration groups edit page.
