The availability of configuration data can be controlled by environment, date, version, or a self-defined context. It is even possible to use more than one criteria. Just be aware that using the environment, date, and version at the same time can lead to a configuration, which is quite hard to understand. We strongly recommend to either use version or date in one configuration group.

Of course, it is easy to use the environment and version in one configuration group and environment and date in another. When creating or editing a configuration group, select the required criteria, and choose if the criteria is mandatory or not:
